That Steph Curry guy is kinda popular, huh?

  2. Steph could not have popped off any harder or at any more critical a time. Insane career defining high roll. Out of body experience

The most watched Olympic team game would have been when the “Dream Team” got beat by the college team with Webber and company but they’ve scrubbed it from the internet.

Most watched game of basketball since Warriors vs Cavs in 2017

Wonder who was there also 🧐

Edit: actually it was the ncaa women final from early this year but yeah

  5. And NBC won’t allow a single clip from it to be posted on the internet

The basketball was good but where was the

    “NO FLEX, ZONE”
    “Like a good neighbour”
“What a pro wants, a pro needs”
    “Liberty, liberty, liberty”
    “Oh,oh, oh, Ozempic”

Because this is what everyone is actually watching for, right?

It was so amazing watching the last two minutes and not having a commercial every 5 seconds. I’d watch more games live if the NBA was like that.

I wonder what the total views are going to look like worldwide, is 10/15 more million views from french viewers too much?

  9. Different-Horror-581

What? An Olympic final? Way more people watched that game.

  10. I believe most ppl tuned in just to hear the NBA anthem and to sing along “ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-basketball gimme gimme gimme the ball because Im gonna dunk it!”

Wait I think I read 20-25 million US viewers watched the 2022 World Cup final. Soccer World Cup gets more viewers than NBA and Olympic basketball?

  12. Charmstrongest

How many people watched on Streameast?

The entire block heard me screaming I havent been more invested in a sporting event since the Bron vs Warriors 3-1 finals

Ok so I know recency bias and Warriors homer-ism are affecting me here, but I think that picture of Curry shooting over Wemby is legit a top 5 all time iconic basketball photo.

It was so fun cheering for a team with Steph on it. Who knew?

Ending was a blast but the whole tournament was so good

Besides Tatum these games were essentially perfect showcases to show why each star player is so beloved. Seemed like everybody that would typically hate on Bron, Steph, KD, Embiid etc really had their perspective shifted.

I’m sure it’ll disappear by the time the season starts but it was nice to have a moment where fans across all different fanbases came together like that

  18. does that count people like me who watched the replay?
