Don’t get me wrong, great team. But most of the national teams had very few changes from 4 years ago, so I don’t think we can look at this and say they were much better.

Here's what we learned/reinforced after these Olympics:
1) The world has more than caught up to the States (arguably surpassed them).
2) Replace Wemby or Jokic with any of these (North) American players and none of them would be able to take their respective teams to the podium (see Canada).
3) Were it not for Steph's heroics, these guys likely would not have even won a medal.
4) Princess James needs KD and Steph on his team to win.
Basketball is continues to become a more global sport.
