You say this yet the lights got too bright for Serbia in that semifinal in the 4th quarter.

I’m there to watch the game not have a giant flag waved in front of my face blocking the entire court
Lol69HaHaHa
Even as a kid going to a football (soccer) game, id just question what the hell was wrong with these people.
Usually its known which parts of the arena are for the hardcore, crazy fans and which side is for mpre of the neutrals, casuals or people that come with their families.
And god forbidd you are a fan of the away team that stumbled into the wrong side of the arena…best to just lay low at that point.

Europeans post these clips when they want to make themselves feel better.
>”B-b-but look at our crowds! Y-y-you don’t have crowds like that in A-a-america!

European sports fans are just different lol.
I went to a PSG vs Auxerre game in 2022 right before the World Cup started ….. and the Auxerre section of the stadium was cheering loudly all game long, even as they were down.
They lost 5-0. But they didn’t give AF lol. It was pretty cool to see.
Fans here in the US are mild af.
And I paid like $105 to get a row 1 seat near the middle of the stadium …..
That same seat for an NBA game is like 50x the price, and way more for NFL.
slippyskipz
This seems like it would be fun to attend for 1 game a year max
twovles31
That seems exhausting, I don’t think I would go to game there.
EdeniEdits
These people have the audacity to call others savages lmao
xheavenzdevilx
I’m an American “soccer” fan and have always been so jealous of the European crowds, but to be honest this would get shut down, multiple arrests, stadium bans, and probably evacuate the stadium if tried in America.
azjza
Europeans getting shit on by both our men and women in front of the entire world got them coping hard right now.
Mbanicek64
Yeah, NBA players would probably just walk off the court if they had this going on. It looks fun, but it is honestly kind of goofy. It looks more like a January 6 rally than a basketball game.
Kind_Resort_9535
Are any of them actually watching the game lol?
New_City5200
This is steve ballmers vision.. if he executes I’ll be thoroughly impressed.
TheMeccaNYC
I saw them play against Norwich for an exhibition game in England.
The Greek fans chanted the entire game, and I cannot even name the amount of fights I saw. It was a crazy experience lol. All the men sit seperate from their wives/family so they can focus on fighting and throwing beer.
It was amazingly entertaining

RUSSEL WESTBROOK WOULD HAVE THE REFS REMOVE THAT WHOLE SECTION

Take a chill pill its just a game. Bunch of grown ass men foaming at the mouth over a ball going through a hoop is not endearing.

How many European players have experience being black and playing in an SEC gym?
MrGoodOpinionHaver
Europeans think American crowds suck but forget that:
1. Our sports tickets cost 5x theirs so the guys that would do this can’t really even get in
2. If you do this you’re getting arrested and maybe shot and banned from the stadium
WanAjin
It’s cool when it’s peaceful. It sucks when they start throwing bottles or start a fire in the stands lol

ive lost track of how many times this has been posted

Imagine you saved money and finally get a chance to watch your favorite player in person and the guy next to you lights up a flare used as an emergency for someone lost miles away.

These might be the worst r/nba comments I’ve ever seen. Summer school ass thread.

This is a great way for me to never bring my children to a game lol
Wood_floors_are_wood
People are going to say these crowds are cool, but I’m glad American sports aren’t like this.
That looks unhealthy
mavvme
European basketball, where the quality of play is so mediocre the fans need to create their own show in the stands to entertain themselves.
Charliebitme1234
Love the juxtaposition between these insane Euroleague crowds and all the players who seem to be the floppiest and bitchiest players in the olympics lmao
bozovisk
Some comments here are wild. There are a lot of problems behind football/soccer stadium culture. I do recommend to you Americans try this experience. The pressure that this environment creates is a whole different animal and this type of thing made me feel in love when I was a kid for my football/soccer team. The energy is bonkers.
On top of that there is another thing when we talk about internacional sports because the organizations put the ticket price very high so these ppl can’t go. There is whole movement against “modern football” that increased the price tickets to profit and let the ppl who push their players 24/7 out of the party. And I personally feel the same when I watch NBA or NFL is like watching a opera house not a traditional sports stadium/arena
