Valanciunas was a FA that Washington signed 30 mil for 3 years .. I'm no cap expert, but why didn't the Knicks just sign him as a FA when they had the chance ?? .. Another great vid Troy, you rock !
Why are you discussing trades that won’t happen til Dec 2024. What if Valenciunas gets into a season ending injury? Things can happen from now to Dec. Need to discuss trades that will happen now! If we were Knicks should not give up Washington pick as that pick might be very valuable since Washington will do very poorly and can draft a C with it

This guy can’t play tough minutes. He’s like Mitchell Robinson in playing minutes very similar, except Robinson has way more skill level. They have to mix them up together.

If they trade Achiuwa, Diop and Payton. Who takes over as back up PF behind Randle and who replaces Payton & Diop on the roster? Sims still the third center. Valancuinas the back up center to Mitch.
2026 they will have their own first round pick and Nets 2nd round pick they recieved back from Mikal Bridges trade.
They can draft a center in first round as Mitch will be a free agent that year(2 more years on his 4 yr deal) and the 2nd round pick draft a PF.
As long as they have second round picks, they can use it to draft a position player they need or trade for a player.
After 2026 draft they dont have a first round pick until 2030 & 2032 becahse we gave half our first round picks to Brooklyn. What you guys think?
Those 2025 protected 1st from Wizards & Pistons are useless wont convey unless we trade them back to Washington or Detroit for Valancuinas or Duren.
