    Deni is no where to the player Mikal Bridges is. Mikal got traded for Kevin Durant and was a part of a contending core. Deni sucked his first 3 years on a bad team and got traded for a salary dump

    There is no way to tell where Portland will be picking in NEXT years NBA draft. You draft the best player available. ALWAYS . Drafting #1-14 Portland will be fine. If they need to draft a better guard so be it. If there’s a trade for someone already on the roster it’s ok. The team is going young. Stop acting like Cronin is gonna blow the load if they don’t get the #1 pick. That’s ridiculous

    I think if they luck out and capture the Flagg next summer they might go into win now mode. If they don’t get anyone all that good in the next draft then maybe another likely tankathon for the 2025/26 season? Will Scoot and Shae show in this season that they can be the cornerstones of this team moving forward? Maybe lots of wheeling and dealing next offseason involving Ayton, Simons, Grant (assuming they are still there at the end of the season) to make a winner. The front office seems to keep their cards close to the chest so I’m not sure.

    This year's draft has generational players at the top and depth throughout. We should maximize our lottery chances by getting multiple picks. First, we should try to move Jerami Grant to Brooklyn for their first round pick. Also, we should move Tis and RW3 plus a future first for another first this year. That gives us three bites at the apple.

    Mike is the best Blazer reporter in the business. His tank keeps going up week by week. Mike doesn’t have to create nonsense scenarios. Keep it real and positive for Rip City fans.

    Simons has to start if he’s on the roster day 1. It is a franchise move. Just like Rob Williams will get pt once healthy. It’s a franchise move. Securing future draft capital is something Portland hasn’t done in the past. Going this route is exactly what fans want and like. Being stuck with a talented back court of Dame and CJ and nothing else to cheer for on the team didn’t feel good and Cronin’s job is to run the franchise better than the prior Gm. The future is looking good and exciting.

    The only thing I don’t get about deni is we can’t re sign him after 4 years cause contract too cheap (others can offer more of a raise) so he won’t be here when we’re good
