Trae handles has always been severely underrated by the masses so I’m honestly surprised 2k watched a little ball .. his name never brought up in handles convos for some reason

I think a big part of it is that he consistently has some of if not the best animations in the game every year when it comes to ball handling. Now if only they could fix his other ratings that make no sense like his low 80’s passing and speed with ball ratings. They won’t do that though because that would put him above the ceiling they’ve set for him at 89 overall. It’d be nice to play with an accurate version of Trae in 2k but that won’t happen until the team starts winning games and the stigma around him is gone. I can’t think of another player they go so far to make sure they aren’t 90+ overall year after year.

Curry is a great ball handler but am I the only one who thinks he’s a little overrated in that area? He’s always been an off ball off screens scorer who occasionally uses handles to score. Again he’s still really good but just not 97
