All pretty late games but kinda gives me a chance to watch them, I get off usually at 10 so I’ll only be at most halfway through

I still kinda understand how this works and also not …
I guess it is kinda a knock out setup as you sorta have to win every game, except when you don’t, maybe.
Wait are we playing these guys a second time in a row and it counts now????
Guess I’ll forget about it for a week and then … ask the same questions again.

Good lord that new Clippers logo is obnoxious

Even specifically for the Wolves I get this is not a needle mover, but I’m in the camp of it being a fun wrinkle for the league.
If you segment the entire year, post-season included, I think it’s just something to spice up the start of the year.
1st segment – Start of season + in-season tournament
2nd segment – Christmas day games through all-star
3rd segment – Post trade deadline/all-star playoff push
4th segment – The playoffs themselves
Generally for the league I look at it as a form of flex scheduling for the networks like the NBC/NFL does at the end of the year. The quarterfinals teams probably won’t suck so they’ll be pinned against each other in the quarters, semis, and finals and basketball fans will get good matchups with teams that may not have necessarily been scheduled for many national games. Again, not a needle mover, but not the worst thing for fans.

Gross we don’t need that

I’m tired of them trying to find new gimmicks to keep people watching during a too long season. We aren’t fucking soccer, I wish they’d axe this euro trash tournament nonsense.

Tbh I still feel like the In-Season tournament is fucking pointless lol. Way too early in the season for this to have any real significance imo, and putting up a banner for it would be embarrassing.
