Both LA and and Golden State say no. We are in the era of players going for 4 or 5 draft picks.
Also, I want to see franchise players like Curry retire with the teams they were drafted on. The league is better that way.

Yeah, I’d make this trade, though GSW and LA would never go for it. Is it short-sighted to give up Devin? Probably. But a year or two with Lebron and Steph would be massive for Wemby and the Spurs.
That said, this would never happen, and I don’t want it to happen.

It’s honestly a horrible trade for what the Spurs are trying to do. Build a consistently contending team, dynasty. This move would make the Spurs a contender for 2 years then they would hit a heavy wall.
Also I wish we would stop giving hot take artist a platform here.

Add a pick or two for Steph and maybe they’ll accept but no way the Lakers hand over LeBron like that after drafting Bronny and adding a trade clause to his deal since LeBron = big money. It’s also a bad idea to accelerate a rebuild by trading old players for younger ones because who knows what could happen by then
