Hilarious that Wes forgot how much he enjoyed the in-season tournament. 😂 the whole point of the tournament was to get people to tune in BEFORE XMAS. Also, the Pacers/Bucks rivalry was born in the in-season tournament and that carried the whole season as well as the Knicks having to play extra games against the Bucks because of the in-season tournament and them complaining about that all the way up until the last day of the season. It was a success (so this must just be a “we need content” discussion)
Regular season is boring; the entire season should be tournaments.

And points from the tournaments determine Playoff seeding
The Heat has a chance vs. anybody if healthy, health has been the issue the last few years
You can’t do Elim/Target score ending for all group play games because those are still regular season games. You can’t change the rules of just some of the regular season games and still have them count towards the 82 game record.
What they should at least do is have the groups divided by divisions. It’ll at least make the divisions in the NBA have some meaning. It’s always been so arbitrary and needless, grouping the tournaments by division would be somewhat interesting
Hey guys! Love the content! I think the winner of the NBA Cup should earn a birth to the NBA playoffs automatically (top 6 seed and avoid play-in tournament) The whole tournament would be best by breaking it up like this: NBA Preseason -> NBA Cup -> NBA Regular Season -> NBA Playoffs. Have everyone play home and away once against each team in the regular season. Also, it would great to have the groups mixed in altogether (East and west teams in the same group)
