And i personally would probably take Ace with the first pick. That’s something you can’t teach at that age, at that height. He seems unfazed making shots with a hand in his face, almost KD like, Ace probably has the highest upside, but atm Coooer is the better player.
Next month, around this date, Dennis Schroder will turn 31 years old. He's on an expiring contract. Considering the fact that the Nets will be rebuilding, it's unlikely he'll be re-signed. It's always a possibility that he could if it's for a very cheap contract. I can't visualize any team trading for him because they could pursue him as an unrestricted free agent after next season. I could see Schroder playing out the season as a Net with one of his best performances of his career considering it'll be like auditioning for a final contract with any franchise.
It's highly speculative but based on what I've seen so far, my top 6 draft picks next season are in this order: Dylan Harper, Ace Bailey, Nolan Traore, V.J. Edgecombe, Khaman Maluach, and Tre Johnson. I think Cooper Flagg is a media manufactured star. The main reason is because there's a yearly search for an american born great white player. Most of the NBA fans are white and it would excite them to see some white stars among an ever increasing number of black players. It's early but I could see Copper Flagg performing no worst than Kent Benson, as a Pro, who was drafted as a 1st pick of the 1st round in 1977. I could see him performing no better than Christian Laettner, as an NBA player who was a 3rd overall pick back in 1992.
Cooper Flagg is obviously going to have a lot of national coverage and overcome a lot of hurdles and challenges to validate all the rave reviews he's gotten. Does his offensive game need a little more refinement and consistency? Yes. But is he a solid defender, has the ability to score in a variety of ways and is NBA ready ? Yes 😁….
But we can't just discard Cooper either as not being worthy of the top selection especially if he surpasses all expectations in his college season as well 😎….
