What is everybody’s opinion on pop?

So the reason why I’m making this post is because when I go out and eat and then try to start a conversation with somebody about the spurs I mentioned pop to a lot of those people either say he should retire or spurs should let him go and I live in the San Antonio area kind of So I’m just curious if anybody else has the same opinion or not

Hmm…. He is the goat, and a great man.  He is self-aware enough to step down when needed.

Wine connoisseur. Would take a recommendation from him.

He wants some nasty, of course. Oh and fine wine too.

Pretty cool dude, might even go as far as saying rad

Is this a real question? Pop is a legend. Period. Doesn’t even need explaining. He’ll step aside when the time is right, like all legends do 😉

  6. Considering the quality of basketball the Spurs have played the past few years, I can definitely see the argument for wanting him to call it quits. You don’t need to have a great team in order to instill good habits. He needs to either piss get off the pot

I’m gonna take a controversial stance and I don’t care what anyone else here has to say about it!

Pop is the greatest coach in sports period and I think he’s a super cool dude

You must be running into the casual fans of the city. Real ones know that pop still got it. We are extremely fortunate to have a HOF coach sticking around for a full rebuild.

People who say he should go don’t follow the Xs and Os and only look at wins

Does not follow player development, salary cap,…

I get tired of extended family and others with ideas that make zero sense based on cba rules

They also never played basketball so don’t get the small details of what separates players, they only look at points scored

If you follow the small details over the years he is definitely the 🐐

Players see it, GMs see it

Sounds like you’re eating at the wrong places

Maybe they don’t know what you’re saying because you don’t use puctuation. Or, maybe you misunderstand them because you ignore their punctuation. Just a thought.

    He’s the GOAT.

He’s also not afraid to share his political opinions, and that upsets some people.

I don’t think it’s a secret that Pop is old. It’s hard to be on top of your game as you age. He’s not got the same energy he did a decade ago, and I do think that impacts the team.

With all that said, he’s earned the right to retire on his terms.

There will be no slandering of Pop.
