Let’s not forget Quentin grimes is a solid quick release 3pt shooter 39% ish on 5-6 attempts per game. NAJI was a good shooter last year but was an outlier year so let’s see. Klay and Quentin shooting presence alone will get us so much additional spacing. It’s going to elevate our offence to another gear. I think our offence will be top 2 if not #1.
Some additional info, Josh Green took 3.3 threes a game in contrast at a 38.5% clip. His hesitancy to shoot and him needing to be open was a detriment. Quentin grimes is not only quite a bit better than him on defence he’s better on offence to.

I really like PJ, but the Celtics seemed pretty content with letting him shoot those open threes. Let’s hope that he can find more consistency with these open looks

Man our whole team got upgraded, at every position. I’ve been watching ’24 GS games and Klay’s gravity was getting so many people free runs to the rim and open shots, it was stupid. I don’t care what he shot, just him running around helped the offense.
With a passing sniper like Luka on the team, do you realize what that’s going to do? Our FG% in the Luka/Klay minutes is going to be absurd.

I haven’t been this excited about the start of a Mavs season in a long time. We’re coming off a finals berth and after going back and reviewing the film, and really seeing what our new players can do, we actually got way better. I feel like this ’25 team is going to be off the charts special.
We’re significantly better in every way, except for POA defense at the 3. That will be an issue, but the pluses we’ve added are way more meaningful IMO.
If we’re relatively healthy, we’re going to get the one seed and break the ORTG record.
Even if we’re not, we’ve given ourself so much injury insurance that we’ll still tread near the top of the standings.

Masterful summer after a fantastic year.
