There is no way now or in the foreseeable future that 3M3 is 30MM+ player. Like it or not, there's more to the game of basketball than launching 30-foot jumpers and an occasional highlight dunk. If Herb Jones merits just over 13MM a year, 3M3, even taking into consideration that the NBA is an offensively driven league, is worth no more than 20MM per year. Anything more would be a mismanagement of the salary cap by the front office.
Trigger is definitely a part of the Pels future here. He and Herb was a hit in the draft. Along with a Zion, the future is bright. But I wish I could say the same for Hawk. He may be expendable.
If no other team is willing to pay BI 42-50M why are we??

Wow. TM3 had 40mins a game in the playoffs and finished with 12ppg. He is a modern day Rashard Lewis. I think the Pels were ready to move on from B.I before the OKC series but the Pels saw the same thing we all saw. B.I skill level is miles away from TM3 and TM3 got exposed in the playoffs as a two trick pony at best. I think this will create a great battle between the two of them all season for the right to earn the huge payday they both want.
