Reality is a tuff to handle.
All they need is a serviceable big man and the young guys that GSW highly covet need to show why they are highly coveted.

Guru is not speaking in reality. You can't expect Steph to play at an elite level all or even most of the season. I don't think Kuminga and Brandin Podziemski are good enough to get the Warriors into the playoffs.

Sometimes there just aren't moves to make. Markannen would be great but not at the asking price the Jazz want. It just didn't make sense. I'm glad they didn't trade multiple players and picks. I don't even think it would make the team better.

To win a chip the warriors need two all stars in their prime and the warriors have none. Steph just showed he can do it for 2 important games but not for an extended series let alone 16-28 playoff games let alone 82 regular season games.
The only chance they have is to win enough regular season games to get a 5 or 6 seed while at the same time resting Steph (ave 20 minutes a game) and then hope they get lucky and hot during the playoffs. Trading Draymond, looney, GP, and Kuminga for one all star in his prime might help.

I donât get this the warriors owe Steph narrative. They spent 160 million on four veterans last year and didnât make the playoffs. Buying old players never works. Itâs time to lean into the young guys and hope they develop. Kuminga becoming a superstar is the Warriors best chance for the future. He should start every game next year. Evaluate after next season what you have.
Vucevic could be a viable option without sacrificing picks and wait for the trade deadline to see if any stars aré avaliable
All dynasties have a ending. But as they stand, they are a mid team. Blow it up next year. Trade Steph to LA and then trade Dray to what ever team will trade for him. Rebuild through the draft and pray like hell.

Alch had a good trade idea, what about moody and a pick for Jaden Ivey because Ivey thrives playing fast paced and doesnât really fit next to Cunningham and moody doesnât really fit with this team according to Kerr so that helps both parties and they can trade Wiggins for a big like nikola from the bulls.

This was always my take with the warriors. Steph is too old to carry a team and multiple players make too much money (including steph) to make any significant additions. Itâs either steph takes a massive pay cut to improve the team or play somewhere else. It would be buffoonish to trade everything away for a declining player. I also feel like the bandwagons/steph stans have an unrealistic expectation of steph always having elite teams around him. Thatâs not reality
