Ewing might be the better player

But it’s gotta be Clyde for best Knick

  2. MikeDarsh

Gotta be Clyde or Ewing (but hopefully Brunson whenever we do this again in 5-10 years)

  3. Playbookof3li

Ik his time was short but imma throw out Bernard king

  4. Clyde. Not only two chips but he was one of the best two way guards in the 70’s. 7 all nba selections, 7 1st team all defense, 7 time all star, 1 all star mvp

Him and pistol Pete were the best guards that decade.

Ewing…. Straight up best player… beast… he has every offensive and defensive record of note and he carried us to the playoffs for a decade. Facing Jordan, the greatest player to ever play the game, was the only reason we don’t have multiple trophies….

Clyde straight up wasn’t as good, had a better team around him, and never had the face Michael Jordan .

Ewing is the greatest knick of all time…

Id go with Ewing. People today know him as the guy Scotty Pippen dunked on and then stepped over, but hes a bonafied top 5 center of all time. And he was dominating, just watch his games against Shaq.. i knew the Magic were in trouble in the finals against the Rockets and Hakeem when Shaq had a hell of a time just defending Ewing.

What seperates him from Walt is that if you take Ewing off that 94 team, thats a straight up expansion type of team with maybe 25 wins.He made the most with less over Walt. I almost choked on my Bagel when a guy on espn had Anthony Davis over him.

Although in all seriousness, you cant go wrong with either one. Plus im a bit biased because i wasnt around to watch Frazier play and i never missed a knick game in 94. So that plays a lot into it.

I always took him for granted, all i remembered was his guaranteed playoff victories that never happened and him clanking important free throws near the end of the game, while Jordan made every single one. It took a decade plus of being losers to make me aprreciate what we really had.

  7. datatadata

How are you collecting data/responses to populate this? You should do a proper poll

  8. How were Knox or ntilikina overrated? They just were draft busts…
Starbury I get, he was a cultural movement too but never really top of the league lol

  9. dazindannyyy

Clyde. 36pts/19reb on Wilt Chamberlain in game 7 of the finals? I don’t think any other Knick can top that.

  10. Lite_Heart

Lol Carmelo got the most overrated votes by far!! But you keep playing your own narrative..

  11. deuce_and_a_quarter

Yikes. Starbury overrated?!? I don’t think he even fits the making of that word. Overrated would mean someone like Frederick Weiss: a hyped up prospect or draft pick or up-and-comer who is getting his 1st bag. Starbury was a star already on another team that came over. He might have disappointed or not lived up to oversized expectations but I wouldn’t say he was “overrated”.

  12. mattr1198

Clyde just a bit over Ewing because of the titles he won. Reed also close.

  13. Clyde would say Willis

    Willis would say Patrick

    Patrick would say Patrick

  14. GroundbreakingCat355

So hard but gonna go Clyde. Wouldn’t even fight Pat or Willis though

  15. Patrick Ewing legit carried New York on his shoulders and left everything he had on the floor for his entire career he deserves to be the greatest. His best team mates were Starks Oakley and Mason. No disrespect to any of those guys but that’s not really a great supporting cast. Even though Clyde is an all time great and won our only two titles but Patrick Ewing literally WAS the New York Knicks for 15 years.

Shocked at the lack of Reed answers here, but I was always going Clyde anyway.
