[Shams] After 10 NBA seasons, Joe Harris has retired from basketball. Harris played 504 NBA games for the Nets, Cavaliers and Pistons. He was a career 43.6 percent three-point shooter and won the Three-Point Contest at 2019 All-Star weekend.

Despite his shortcomings in his last years in the playoffs, Joe will always be a favorite of mine. Godspeed, Joey Buckets.

I only have fond memories of Joey Buckets in a Net uniform.

Congratulations and all the best on your retirement, Joe.

Good guy, too bad we couldn’t rely on him when it counted.

Genuinely crazy how the ankle injury derailed about 2 seasons of his career considering how much of a weapon he became as the 3 and D guy. Despite the playoff shortcomings I’ll still have love for the goat

Made some great money and good memories.

Made generational changing funds for his family.

Can invest well and live out the rest of his life around the globe if he cares to.

Basketball Reference says that he has career earnings of $92 million. Good for him.

I remember someone on here a couple of years ago posting something about him walking to and from training and the games. I don’t know how true that is, but if it is then that $92 million should cover him for the rest of his life. LOL.

I wish we could have kept him around for one more year. Even if he is completely cooked I would’ve loved for him to retire a Net.

That ankle injury was an actual career ender I guess. Horrible compared to the level he was at just a few years ago

and had the best 3pt% in the league 2 seasons in a row, I believe, while on the Nets (one of those seasons being the 3-pt contest win season); will always have fond memories of Joey Buckets! I wish him the best in retirement!

Whatever, he absolutely disappeared in the playoffs and that’s how I’ll remember him.

say what you want about him but he was on his way out the league until Marks gave him a chance. he then blossomed into the greatest 3 point shooter in Nets history. he was disappointing in the playoffs yes, but you have to give him his flowers as one of the more important Brooklyn Nets in recent history.

I’ll always have love for Joe.
