Another interesting show with lots of different discussions tonight 😅…..
Looking at Cam Johnson and his trade value he's probably the most coveted of the group of veterans due to his ability to knock down threes play some decent defense and has an interior offensive bag he can bring out when he has to use it…..
Most likely Brooklyn wants a first round draft pick and a prospect player at least in return for Johnson and teams like the Orlando Magic Sacramento Kings Warriors and Spurs could have interest in Johnson. If Brooklyn keeps Johnson for the first half of the season, the hope is for him to raise his trade value so the Nets can get the trade package they want 👍….
Hopefully Brooklyn can raise both Doe and Johnson's values so they can put the finishing touches on this rebuild and be armed with a ton of draft capital to make future moves 😎…..
Shout out to DJ bro for keeping it real tonight and calling out the lack of constructive criticism with all the other draft prospects and not just Cooper Flagg getting the brunt of it 😮😅…..
Obviously we have our top choices but whoever it is whether it's Cooper Ace Harper or Edegecomb they are going to be an impactful player on this team 😁….
The Nets are stuck with Cam Johnson for the same reason they're stuck with Ben Simmons. It's because they aren't worth the salaries they're making thus making it difficult for any franchise willing to invest in them. If the Nets found trading partners for them, they'll more than likely, have to receive their trading partner's bad contracts, to match the salaries. If that could possibly be worst than keeping them, why bother?
If Sean Marks is going to be the Nets future GM, (and it looks like he is) hopefully he's learned something from the character building experiences, in the past, because of his mistakes. Don't blow up a franchise, that's making progress, for super stars with a lot of mileage on them with dubious personalities to a package deal. (the big 3 experiment) When trading for a player, do the home work of finding out whether the player they're trading for want to be a Net. (Mikal Bridges) Don't re-sign a player to a generous contract based on the friendship of that player with another player they're trying to please. (signing Cam Johnson to please Mikal because at the time, the Nets intention was to build the team around him)
Very peaceful show tonight these are the episodes I enjoy watching
@BKNYHOOPS I think with combo of all these guys that are in the draft you do have to draft based off talent at least for this year because based off how we have been drafting the past years we always draft role players and system type of guys we need real high caliber talent this time around
Cam Thomas is a very good talented scorer but rn he’s not really anything else but a scoring machine that’s not hate at all it just the reality of it fans or just ppl in general don’t like to hear the truth about the players they like and they get emotional when they hear the facts
Nets arent stuck with Johnson. Theyre gonna hold him until the trade deadline. He will be the #2 option behind Cam Thomas. 20 points a game. 8 rebounds. Come the deadline some team will have to cough up 2 or 3 1st round picks. With Bridges gone and being #2 option he will become so much better. Sean Marks is smart to hold on to him until he gets what he wants for him. Let him raise up his value.

#COOPCANHOOP 😎
Here's a fair analysis of what the future top draft prospects need to work on:
Cooper Flagg: Dribble the ball slightly better, build up more strength and have a consistent jump shot.
Ace Bailey: Build strength, show better shot selection outside of a jump shot, and utilize his three point shot better.
Dylan Harper: Improve his athletic ability and be able to command a team as a floor general.
VJ Edegecomb: Buy into being a defensive player to match his explosive athletic offensive abilities….
Again these are minor weaknesses that can be fixed with experience and refinement 😁 👍…..
