Who else could it be if not the Big Fundamental. Next up, who is the worst Spurs player of all time?

This is difficult, but I’d go with Keith Bogans as the worst Spurs starter of all time. Averaged like 4/2/1 in 20 minutes a game.

Josh Primo…oh that should be wasted potential

DeMarre Carroll. His contract screwed up a lot for us that season. I’m still pissed at Marcus Morris and the NBA not vetoing the Davis Bertans trade.

I remember thinking Kevin Martin could really help them when they picked him up in 2016. He… did not. He was totally cooked.

There’s actually worse players but Doc Rivers playing 138 games on 15.8 mpg averaging 4.4/1.7/2 on 36.6/34.4/74.1 shooting splits is awful.

If we are talking for someone who stayed with the team more than one season, and if not, there is a HUGE list of players who were on the roster but no one remembers.

But if we are talking for someone who was with the team multiple years that has to be Sean Marks.

Statistically, there is a real answer for this, but I have no idea who. It’s gotta be a deep bench player who never scored well and provided no help.

Gorgui Dieng, tank commander extraordinaire. Got yourself an unexpected lead? Never fear! Here comes the 3rd quarter lead killer! Delivered 60 delicious Ls, and a freshly hatched baby Wemby. Thank you for your service, commander, you were the absolute best at being the absolute worst.

    *salutes*

I’d put Luka Samanic as most wasted potential, Primo was genuinely a hot pack of ass

  11. There have been 456 spurs over the years.

Of players that have played at least 41 games and averaged at least 10 minutes a game, the player with the worst shooting percentage was Reggie Geary.

I don’t remember him though, and Doc came in 4th worst, so I’m just going to go with Doc Rivers.

Forbes is either here or most annoying.

Rasho Nesterović, signed a 6 year $42 million contract with the Spurs played 3 years in San Antonio. He played 232 games and started 203 games all during the regular season averaging 6.4 points and 6.0 rebounds on 24 minutes. During that time he started 11 of 34 playoff games averaging 2.8 points and 3.3 rebounds on 14.4 minutes. During the title run in 2005 he played 15 playoff games and started none of them averaging 0.7 points and 1.7 rebounds on 7.6 minutes. Not great.

Bryn Forbes; even off the court, he’s been in custody battles, and arrested twice for allegations with his “GF”.
On the court, he’s not the point guard that creates opportunities for us to score. His defense was mediocre at best. He doesn’t resemble a “Spur” in any fashion to me, personally.

  15. Responsible_Bag2081

I’m proud no one said Zach Collins after he had an awful season. No bandwagons over here 🥹

    Y’all are true fans.

  16. Billythegiantpeach

Our 2015 1st round center who never came to the nba (Nikola Mulitinov) seems like a great option here

  17. hardgour

David West always killed us when he played against us, but never cooked when playing for us.

The Luka we drafted was not him either.

  18. JeremyLinForever

David Lee and / or Kevin Martin. Got them when they were already washed up.

  19. obisanshinobi

Didn’t look up stats or anything but the first to come to mind for me is Bryn Forbes

  20. NBA champion Mengke Bateer. 12 games, 23.5%, 0.8 ppg. More of a novelty than an NBA player.

  21. GordodePergamino

That french center Joffrey Lauvargde or smth like that. Holy shit that guy was slow, bad hands, didnt defend, didnt move, nothing

Honestly the Demare Carroll shot out is pretty spot on, one of the few? huge overpays

  22. Australian legend Andrew Gaze

    Honorable mention: Carl Herrera
