  1. Runner-up for Warrior w/ most wasted potential: Anthony Randolph

  2. CP3 is the best passer who played for them but that feels weird. Give me Baron Davis.

Tim Hardaway averaged 9.2 assists a game with the warriors

Tim Hardaway. Give me run TMC any day.

Draymond made passing a highly valued “bigs” skill but I don’t think that makes him our best passer. I’d go Tim Hardaway or Jerry West

Edit: Jerry West was never a Warrior. I’m an idiot.

Tim Hardaway is the best passer we’ve had

  7. Tim Hardaway, anyone saying Draymond never saw Tim play.

  8. DONT_ask_me__

Barron Davis. Loved his passing skills.

  9. This chart should have 2009-2024 above it huh? Y’all know the team existed before that right lol?

    #Baron Davis

As a member of the great time out video team circa we believe I’m pretty firm on that sentiment. Really alot of solid plus passers from Iguodala Bogut Dray to Rick Barry Tim Hardaway and Cwebb and Steph. Very few great passers. Baron was a GREAT passer.

It’s Tim Hardaway or Baron Davis. Tim is probably the actual answer. Baron gets a sentimental nod as a dude who saw hours upon hours of Baron playmaking footage on the cutting room floor.

The Timberwolves are the best passers in Warriors history. They passed on Steph twice.

Tim Hardaway is the obvious answer to me. TMC ran on his passing playmaking and instant death crossovers.

Jordan Poole! His ability to pass the ball to himself was unmatched.

Well, one question is how long did someone have to be here to be counted as “a Warrior.”

Chris Paul is one of the best passers in NBA history, but he was only with us for one season. He averaged as high as 11.6 APG for a season, led the NBA in assists 5 times, and averaged 9.4 APG over his whole career. His per-game number with the Dubs wasn’t great, but that because his minutes were way down. He averaged 9.2 AST-per-36, which was in line with his career numbers.

Another who makes the Top 20 on some lists is Muggsy Bogues, who was with us for 2 seasons.

Then there’s Tim Hardaway, and long-time Warrior who makes some Top 25 lists. He averaged as much as 10.6 APG, and was at 8.2 APG over his whole career.

Wilt was also a great passer, and in 1967-68, just to prove it, he led the NBA with 8.6 APG, outpacing Oscar Robertson in his prime, while his point production dropped from about 30 PPG down to 24 PPG

FWIW, none of the all-time lists include any of the current group.

If there’s no “residency” restriction, Chris Paul was the best passer ever to play for the Warriors.

If multiple-year service is a requirement, it was Tim Hardaway.

Tim Hardaway. He made difficult passes look so effortless. DG runner up.

Best Passer in Franchise history? Rick Barry … a shooting forward who passed like Larry Bird a generation later.

This board just show how little this sub knows about the franchise pre-Steph
