Bleacherreport propose trash trades because they want clicks. Why the hell would we trade Austin, Rui without getting a meaningful return. Zach Lavine and his 50+ millions per year contract would destroy our cap space for future seasons.

Only way I would trade for LaVine if I were the Lakers is if the Bulls offer several first rounders. I personally think the players that have to be included to make the money match are far make valuable to the team. I know people hate DLo but I think he fits the team better. No way I would give up Rui or Reaves. Zach is an upgrade for these players but at the cost of three of them. This move guts the team depth and leaves the lakers looking for minimum contracts for years to build out the depth.
