Pretty interesting that Randle wasn't extended. Usually, that can mean only 2 things.
- Randle Wants to Hit FA next Year
- FO Doesn't want to give him the max.
So, do you guys think he gets extended before the season starts? And if yes, is it a max deal or does he also take a cut?

Or option C, Randle picks up his player option next year, they extend him off that which allows the team to skirt the 2nd apron for one more year because the player option wouldn’t put us over the limit. Just because it hasn’t happened yet doesn’t mean the team is looking to get rid of him.
stop asking for and suggesting everyone take a pay cut for your entertainment. Would you take a pay cut so your boss could save a little cash? It happened once for Brunson who is so connected up and down the org chart that he knows his next contract of more than 500 million is guaranteed no matter what. Please do not spread the terrible idea that everyone else should have to take a pay cut.
This is my own personal theory, but Randle has been traveling across Asia over the past couple weeks. Unsure if he’s still there or not, but him being away might be the reason why a deal hasn’t been made yet.
Thats just my own speculation tho. Who knows what’s going on. Just gotta wait and see

I think it’s 3. Both sides want to see how the team fit is and if Brunson took a pay cut then Randle may want to as well. Especially come back from injury.
Players tend to play better too in their contract year
