Well, I hope there will be new clippers fans in the making with Ballmer doing so much for the franchise.

I wonder why he didn’t move team to Seattle several years ago. Could’ve buid a new arena there. He worked there for decades and knows the supersonic culture. Just wondering. Iam googling it right now

Don’t forget the “healthy Clippers” being back to back to back to back to back /r/nba offseason champions, but they’re to scared to hang the banners

He built a failed super team while Sterling was too busy shouting racial slurs in his mansion.

Overall hes been good. Took some swings, willing to invest, doesn’t travel around with a “nurse”, shattered some shoulders with the sheer force of his exuberant high 5s.

    But bad injury luck!

Also I think he shoulda fully rebranded, change the team name and everything, there is no esteemed brand legacy to keep afloat after all.

As much as I dislike the Clippers Ballmer seems like the perfect owner. Deep pockets and just genuinely loves basketball

Pretty cool. Quite the turnaround, tbh.

It would be super exciting if they had a young core to kick off the new arena. It’s a shame the team will be irrelevant again for half a decade.

  8. Unpopular opinion but dude should’ve move the Clippers to Seattle or San Diego.

He is not hurting for money. His great x20 grandkids are going to be set for life.

Would’ve gave them their own identity and not be known the Lakers little brother.

    Biased of course

But i do think he is the current best owner in the league.

This is why the Kawhi PG thing was good even though it hasn’t panned out in a chip. Ballmer has changed the perception of the clips from perineal laughing stock to just a regular ass team which is such a huge jump for that franchise.
