The NBA Forgot About Ja Morant

Ja Morant missed the majority of the 2024 NBA season, and the Memphis Grizzlies missed the playoffs despite being firmly in the playoff hunt over the last few seasons.

But now, Ja Morant is set to return for the 2025 NBA Season, and the Grizzlies are set up for him to have the best season of his career with a strong supporting cast around him.

Ja Morant isn’t just one of the most explosive athletes in the league, throwing down highlight reel-worth dunks, he’s also one of the most electric passers in the league.

Many might’ve forgotten how good Ja Morant is, but they’re gonna be reminded very soon.

    He plays quite recklessly for a player his size. Throws himself around a lot if he wants to be healthier and more available he's going to have to learn how to play a bit smarter to protect himself and pace himself.

    It’s less about forgetting and more about guards that have caught or surpassed him. How many people are willing to argue Ja over Ant? 2 years ago I would have taken Ja over Fox. Now though? fox has a better jumper, more affective defense, and is much more efficient. SGA is better now as well. Maxey has seemed to have caught up to him.

    Ja Morant is like an underdog of the NBA as we are oversaturated by other stellar players such as ANT or Luka.

    You know whats crazy? He doesnt even need a 3pt shot imo its good enough, if he gets a reliable shai or D fox like mid range game its over he already has the floater down now add a step back middy he will be the best PG in the leauge behind luka ofc

    He’s literally a young Westbrook , he needs to start learning how to shoot from 3 consistently then he won’t turn out like Westbrook when he’s old.

    The NBA forgot about Trae Young. One of the greatest offence of players of this decade, but unfortunately, he is stuck in Atlanta with one of the worst supporting casts in the NBA.
