Hot take: Draymond! EVERYTIME he switched onto a guard, I felt like it was a sure stop.

Shout out to Gary Payton II, never saw a Warrior pick up full court before watching him play.

Rick Barry has a crazy number of steals but never known for being lockdown

I gotta go w GP2. Seldom does a dude change the game with defense alone

Latrell was the best. He and GP1 were the best perimeter defenders in the league at the time.

As a longtime Dubโ€™s fan, I gotta give love to Spree and Iggy, but I have never seen a player lock down a defender like GP2!

Andre Iguodala. Thanks to his pretty lock down defense against LeBlow Job, it nabbed him the Finals MVP.

Although I still believe it shouldโ€™ve went to Curry for his well rounded games in that Finals series.

Iggy and itโ€™s not really close. Iโ€™ve never seen a player who mastered distance management quite like him. The combination of hands, instincts, and size made him an ideal perimeter defender.

GP2 … man can effect a game from across the court before he’s switch on anyone.

Klay and Andre are good ones though.

In Warriors history though? We’re not digging deep enough. Probably Wilt.

This is about to get boring when Wilt wins three of the next five categories.

  10. OP, maybe in the top right hand corner of each image you could put a smaller image of the person who was runner up. Or maybe at the end you could create an alternate image that as an addition. lets us see visually who all the runner ups were. a lot of these are pretty close votes.

I have no idea who I would pick between Klay, Gp2, dray and Iggy.

Itโ€™s between Klay and Iguodala. Probably lean towards Iggy for the FMVP. Wiggins is a close 2nd for the work he did in the 22 chip.

  13. Iggy, but Klay was borderline elite too and being effective against dribble penetration.
