I think the fanbase loved Mikki Moore too much. JKidd got him paid.

It’s blasphemous, but I’ll say Brook. Not even his fault though, we just have to glorify him because our franchise never had long term loyal stars.
TheLetter_Eight
It might have to be KD? We dont exactly have a deep pool of highly rated players. KD is the greatest individual talent to ever come to the Nets, but ultimately we only made it to the 2nd round even if its not entirely his fault.

Jason Collins. Yes he was solid on defense but his position was always a black hole during our best years. He would have been ok off the bench though not as a starter
CmNag66
I still like him but maybe Jeremy Lin. He had way too much hype in the sad Brooklin era

Kevin Garnett – had an all star season averaging 15/8 in Boston before averaging career lows in all major stat categories in Brooklyn.
In a season where Brook Lopez went down early in the season, KG not only failed to fill his shoes but played less minutes than the season before. His leadership was there but his physical regression was hard to watch that season

Did you guys forgot Dlo was once on your Team? He an all Star but that playoffs run is a dipshit

Kyrie.
Good player, but far too much baggage to be worth it.
kaalia_targaryen
It has to be Deron Williams based off what he was supposed to be for our team at the time.

Deron Williams, was a top 10 player before he came here, he had some glimpses of what could’ve been but overall man what a disappointment

I’m going to get downvoted for this but here it is.

I don’t think too many of the guys above were actually thought to be good.

Kenyon Martin and it’s not even close.

Keeping it current with this one: Cam Thomas. Guy might be the 7th or 8th best player on any other team, not to mention the fan base rallies around this dude like he’s our version of Steph, going so far as blaming coaches for not playing him enough. This to me is the definition of overrated.
