  1. Ingram won’t get the max money he wants. He got permission to seek a trade but the Pelicans can’t find a trade partner. He’s not a high volume 3 point shooter. That’s a must for today’s NBA. He’s not gonna get the offense run through him anymore given the Murray acquisition. He’s gonna have to change his game to be compatible with the offense we’re running. It’s a classic Mexican standoff because you don’t want to give away a player who is actually a very good player. You want SOME value returning.

  2. I don’t know where all this recent Ingram criticism came from??? He played extremely well in the 2022 playoffs if i remember correctly and he did a lot of the heavy lifting through the regular season when Zion was out. I get that Zion went through some things but he is a professional athlete and is paid as such. And for a long time we all saw him neglect the game of basketball by not taking care of himself. I get that life happens but i imagine we can all relate to having a hard time finding sympathy for a guy that is getting paid millions. But while all that was happening, it was Ingram, McCollum, and Alvarado holding it down. I get that the money is one thing but I really believe if the new CBA wasn’t a thing he’d have found a new team. Sucks for guys like that now because teams don’t wanna be constricted. The ironic thing though is that CJ was the one who agreed to this CBA 😂

  3. I would be so disappointed for both the Cavs and the Pels if they can't trade Jared Allen for Ingram, seems like a perfect fit to improve both teams. Even Atlanta should trade Clint and De'Andre Hunter for Ingram. All that needs to happen is Ingram needs to be okay signing for 30m a year somewhere

  4. Hope the Grizzlies can land him. He’d be a really good fit at their starting 3 position, and this would make the Grizzlies a top 4 team in the league and have really scary depth across each position. The only issue is that the Grizzlies would have to include Marcus Smart in the deal and someone else just to make space financially for B I on their books. I still think this would make them a better team even without Smart, but the pelicans probably won’t be looking for another starting caliber Guard, so a 3rd team would most likely have to get involved

I’m a huge Grizzlies fan, so of course I’d want them to make this trade work, but it would be a really funny variant of the KD-Steph warriors. Superstar Point Guards, All-star shooting Guards, and all-star Defensive Power Forwards all drafted in house and then the Grizzlies bring along BI? He’s the discount Kevin Durant, the “KD at home” per say. it’d be funny and fun to see with BI also having a chip on his shoulder like the rest of the Grizz.
