Honestly seems about time. 32 teams seems right and I think the NBA’s talent is big enough and global enough to support two more teams.
As for the Celtics Im not sure if there is some giga billionaire that makes sense. More likely imo is ‘Casino money’. Especially since Encore casino is relatively new in boston and it would make sense to have an arena right next to the casino there. The Celtics currently pay the Bruins owner rent on the building they are in so anyone who buys the majority shares of the celtics would probably want to build a new place and have total control.
