Wemby has the potential to end the goat debate. It’s not close.

Does wemby really have the most potential if he is already so good? The gap between him now and GOAT is not that wide right?

Yeah probably the current guy we have that has skills not seen on the court for his size, the one that literally every team would trade their best prospect for.
Although you could make a legitimate argument for Timmy. Definitely one of the most highly touted prospects of the 90s, I think only Shaq contends for level of confidence teams had in a player being an all-time great coming out of college for that decade.
If he never gets that knee injury and takes one or two of Shaq and Kobe’s rings from their early 00’s 3 peat, Tim is unquestionably in the GOAT discussion.

That really tall kid who blocks all the shots, grabs all the rebounds, shoots 3s and does a bunch of other stuff seems like he might turn out to be a good player some day. Vic somethingoranother…………

Guys I know it’s Wemby, I’m just giving a vote of confidence for Harrison Ingram here.

“Re-building” is all just luck. Like yeah, you can put together a “nice” team through free agency. But the main ingredient is drafting a HOF or 1st All-NBA talent… I guess player development plays a role…
But if we didn’t get the first pick and draft Wemby, we’d have Scoot and we’d still debating if we should trade for Zach Lavine and Deandre Ayton.

Wemby is too obvious. He is already tapped into his potential. I’ll say Castle because he appears to have a high ceiling that he isn’t close to reaching for a few more seasons.
