I feel if Jrue wins another ring + an all defense selection he definitely has a case. Michael Cooper just made the hall with no all star selections. Defensive stars are finally getting their recognition.

Jrue definitely has a better career compared to Cooper. You can also argue Jrue also has a better career compared to Mo Cheeks who is in the hall as well.

Yes, especially after he gets two more rings in the next four years with the Boston Celtics.

He definitely has a chance. 2 rings, 2 gold medals, 2x All-Star, 6x All-Defense…there’s guys with weaker resumes that are in

If he gets another title it’ll probably make him a lock

Yes. We can look at the accolades which are definitely hall of fame worthy. (This ain’t the football or baseball hall of fame so it’s easier to get in) The biggest reason he’ll get in even if his resume isn’t as stacked as other guys is the fact he’s arguably the best defender in his era.

I feel like he’s a lock with a couple more healthy, borderline all-star seasons. Another ring wouldn’t hurt either.

  6. I’d think borderline currently.
He has enough accomplishments, but he’s been kinda an under the radar glue guy.
I’d vote him in already, but if his stay in Boston continues successful he’s a shoe in.

easily!! think about the hardware that he just added in this year alone

He’s a basketball hall of famer for sure.

  9. One more ring and one more defensive team and he is in to me.

People really overrated how much team USA medals mean

I don’t really think of him as a Hall of Famer but since they just voted Michael Cooper in, I don’t see why not.

Holiday is way more accomplished from an individual standpoint. Key member of 2 championship teams and 2 Olympic Gold Medal teams. Not to mention underrated longevity (went 10 years between All-Star appearances and still going strong).

Definitely should be IMO. He’s one of the GOAT role players. Elevating two teams to titles, playing crucial roles on two gold medal teams, being g considered the greatest perimeter defender of his generation by all of his peers.

I think all-time great role players should be in the hall.
