He will be a coach for sure probably do two years with SA coaching behind Pop and then scoot to some other team to coach … I just really don’t have much excitement about this signing for many reasons… I don’t think it moves the needle much.

Keldon Johnson wearing 3 for another team. Trade him for another Johnson for Nets Cam Johnson is perfect to Spurs for 3 point shooting! Chris Paul is CP3 for wearing jersey number 3.
I think it was always really naive and plain dumb of spurs fans to think cp3 would come in and take the number from a kid who idolized him growing up. Especially with the context that at most chris paul is spending a season here and more than likelly won't be on the team by next season and possibly traded by the deadline. Also pretty dumb to trade Keldon in general compare him to someone like Kuminga, take potential out of the equation, similar production but one guy wants to be paid 40+ million a year. Plain and simple there is no one not on a rookie contract that produces as much as keldon for 17-18 million and he'll likely only ask for 25 at most when he is in line for extension but closer to 22 id imagine
