now DJJ taught he can do on his own.
Rude awakening on Clips when he starts to play.
Re: Grimes in Detroit. I hate to say it but i think Grimes quit on Detroit. I think he wasn't happy he fell out of grace in NY and REALLY wasn't happy to be in Detroit so he just quit. Going to a contending team is going to give him a chance to prove Thibodeau wrong
Replay gang here
Reasons Detroit moved on from Grimes:
1. He’d take time from other young project guards that they’re trying to decide whether to offer a long-term contract
2. This was Grimes’ last season before they might lose him for nothing as an RFA
3. They turned a maybe player into a badly needed role: a veteran perimeter shooter (albeit a streaky one) in THJ) on a handy medium-sized expiring contract
4. They had cap space to sell and 3 2nds and an expiring role player sounds better than the alternatives that were floated (ie none)
5. Grimes don’t want to be in a group so early in a rebuild – right or wrong, Grines had already had a taste of the big stage and wanted to get back there…his mindset didn’t not match the group’s
I hate the new york knicks they get rid of best players with promise then grab any good teams players they are a dirty organization

Mavs got better talent for sure. It doesn't guarantee that team will get back to finals.
They are top 4 in the west.
Old intro was timeless.
Good stuff… I almost believe you're a Mavs fan. JK… good discussion.
Funny when people judge Klay on going 0-10. Steph has had nights where he went 0-11, 1-12, 2-14, 0-9(twice) 1-10, and in in Game 2 of the 2015 NBA Finals he went 2-15 from 3 (Those games combined he is 6-80 or 7.5% from 3). Judging people on their worst night is a bit dumb.
Naji Marshal > DJJ — I truly believe the Mavs told DJJ to take the Clippers offer as soon as they knew Naji Marshall was interested. He is superior to DJJ in every single aspect of his game other than highlight dunks. DJJ was a vet min player barely getting mins on a terrible Bulls team who got introduced to the Luka Effect last year. Naji Marshall had similar mins behind a VERY deep Pelicans forward roster, and yall will see what I mean when the Luka Effect takes hold of him as well
Gimes > Josh Green — I was so happy to see Green get traded. Grimes will be your best PoA defender. He's got a solid 3pt shot. 3&D PoA defenders are valuable.
Klay > THJ — I don't even think this needs an explanation lol. THJ can't play defense and his only role was to catch & shot 3s. Well now you have Klay.
This team obviously got better. Lively will get better. Him, Gaff, and some small-ball Kleber is one of the better center rotations in the league. Luka & Kryie dont need an explanation. PJ could work on his 3 some, but played better than average defense. Exum played solid defense & was one of the few players to hit his 3s. Dinwiddie is back. You have a solid 10-11man playoff roster.
