Meh pretty accurate, I could see us at 48-52, if health permits and young bucks all take a leap.
dhocariz
I think my real question is how engaged is jimmy during the year and how well do the pieces fit.
We are going on year 6 with jimmy and outside of Bam there hasn’t been the growth you’d want/need from the younger players.
I think the prediction is pretty accurate unless someone pops off. This is a regular season prediction not playoffs and we just don’t look good in the regular season.
pansexualpastapot
I think we’re doing 50+ wins. Min 50-32. We’re gonna skip the play in this year and actually snag 3rd or 4th in the East. Then we will battle the C’s in the conference finals. 50/50 shot Heat in 3 on the way to the finals.
lolvalue
We can but health first, that year we won the east we killed ourselves physically and got bounced in the playoffs.
039jmunna
That November stretch will tell us if we can hang but if we get smoked we will be an eighth seed again, I truly don’t want to see another year of heat fan say “ we will turn it up the playoffs 😤” cope
jozohoops
49-33 to 52-30 imo
KayRay1994
tbh closer to 39-43 if i’m being honest
45-37 if we’re healthier than last year, and 50-32 if everyone is healthy and clicking, but realistically i’m expecting 39-43, a lot of last year but worse
SirCarter91
I think we’ll do better than last year. Besides maybe Memphis we were the most injury riddled team in the league.
Ok-Philosopher9070
If we’re healthy i’d say it’s a 50 win team. But, we gotta foul less and improve the turnovers or I could see this being an optimistic projection.
EffinAyyItsMe
We have the best coach so we should have much more wins than that.

Honestly. That’s a SOLID prediction.

We can win 50, but 45 is a safe assumption. Thats the floor.

Same as last year, I’m not fooling myself into believing we’ll magically be healthy this year
Otherwise-Formal-220
That’s pretty solid. We’re pretty much returning the same team as last year. Jimmy is motivated to play so that he’s paid. Will need Bam to be aggressive the entire year, not just spot weeks. Hopefully jovic turns into what yall hype him up to be, but really need rozier to be punch we need. 43-48 I can see
BC502
Much more likely that we are closer to .500 than 50 wins imo
erdna3000
feels right knowing we’ll probably have several weeks without jimmy, bam and tyler or some combo of the 3.
let’s get a top 6 seed and avoid the damn play in.
Sleepylimebounty
Unless Bam takes a leap or 2nd year Jaime is a bit more solid than we expected then that seems about right. We always overshoot by a bit though so 49-51 is about right too.
Big_Honey_56
I’m just not sure why they would predict less wins with the injuries we had. Granted were always hurt, but Jimmy’s in a contract year, Bam off the Olympics, Second year Jaime, first year with Niko as a starter, we have talented back up bigs, we may get Herro off the bench which is huge. I’m not sure how anyone who really follows this team could predict they’re going to be worse in the regular season, unless you bring some pessimistic bullshit.
Crystal_Teardrops
The best thing for the team would be if we don’t do well and we can trade Jimmy and Herro in February for picks. That way we could use our pick in the next draft. We could also use our new picks and cap space as assets to improve the team almost immediately. Because if we end up in the same situation and have to play the Celtics or the Sixers in the PO, it’s going to be the worst possible outcome. In the end, Jimmy may be very good, but there’s no way to beat Boston or Phili. You also have to look at how much the Knicks have improved and the Bucks are good, too
So what’s the reward for losing in the first round or worse? There isn’t any. And if you end up not re-signing Jimmy for anything, you’re going to have fewer cards to play next season. Or even worse, if you decide to re-sign him for another season, the team will more or less stay the same because even if you pay Duncan less, you’ll eventually have to re-sign other players and we’ll get into a loop where it’s impossible to improve. Just like when James left and Bosh couldn’t play
But that’s a bitter redpill that this subreddit refuses to take
boyboyboyboy666
Can we do better? Absolutely, but with the injury luck we’ve had recently, I wouldn’t bet on the over.

Where can I bet on team wins over/under in FL?
