I’d be down. The first answer is Elgin Baylor solely due to how long ago it was and never winning a championship.

  2. Here are my guys, A.C Green and Luke Walton. Green is really a durable player, I think being healthy and ready is underrated. For Luke, he become a serviceable versatile player for a 2nd round pick. He is what the teams looking for today, just a player who acts as a connector to other players.

I feel like James Worthy doesn’t get enough attention

  4. I forgot to mention, we are only picking for Most Underrated for Day 1.

  5. dapanda2

    I would say underrated
    Lamar odom
    Derek Fisher
    Glen rice
Big game James and big shot bob and
    AD

  6. Wonka824

This will sound dumb but AD. He brought us a ring, insane defensive efforts, adjusted to multiple coaching styles (shooter/rim protector) been a number one or two option the entire time and all the love is on bron. Just how I feel rn otherwise Rick fox 🫡

    Most Overrated: Lonzo Ball’s knees
    Most Annoying: Westbrick’s decisions
    Worst Starter: Smush Parker

    Most Underrated… Kareem Abdul-Jabbar

Seriously, he played 14 of his 20 seasons with us and is legit in the GOAT conversation, usually 3rd behind MJ and LeBron. Yet he’s solidly behind Magic and Kobe in the greatest Lakers conversation…. sometimes behind West and Shaq too. And when people do those All Time starting 5’s, they often slot KAJ as the PF.

Gail Goodrich. Jerry West’s shot was off in the 1972 finals, so Goodrich stepped up to lead the team in scoring.

Jamal Wilkes. The guy has his jersey retired and won multiple championships with the lakers in the 80s and everyone forgets about him. We remember Worthy, Cooper, Green, Nixon, and hell even Rambis before Wilkes and Jamaal Wilkes is in the hall of fame too.

Just based on what Lakers I’ve seen 2000 and on since that’s my history. Derek fisher. Just because he’s statistically a bad point guard for the Lakers but is probability the longest clutch three point shooter I ever seen next to Kobe.

It’s gotta be Kareem. As weird as it sounds he’s brought up so unbelievably infrequently when talking about Lakers greats when in reality the guy is, in my opinion, EASILY the 2nd best Laker ever behind Magic.

  13. WatchingWaterPlants

Pau Gasol. We don’t win those two titles without him

  14. Kobe_stan_

Kobe, Lebron, Kobe, Smush, Swaggy P, Swaggy P, AD, Lonzo, Magic, Kobe, Shaq, Kobe, Nick the Quick, Horry, Shaq, Cooper

Most wasted potential Lonzo Ball no question for me. Magic himself wanted the guy to break all his records.
