I rather get Jrue Holiday's career. Jrue is abetter playoff performer especially after the first round than Dame. Jrue changed the Bucks and C's to help make them champs. Dame had a prime Aldridge, a hall of famer Melo who was 7th in 6th Man of the Year, all stars off the bench in Chris Kaman and Mo Williams. He had a Most Improved Player of the Year in CJ McCollum, champions in Trevor Ariza and Norm Powell. He had help and didnt win. Jrue made clutch plays defensively and at times offensively. Dame has only been clutch in the first round vs the Rockets in 2014 and Thunder in 2019. He isnt clutch in the 2nd round and conference finals.
Here are Dame's clutch numbers after the first round.
2016 semis vs Warriors, Lillard shot 27.3% from the field and 25% from three.
2019 semis vs Nugs, he shot 40.9% from the field and 28.6% from three.
2019 WCF vs Warriors, Dame shot 20% from the field and 16.7% from three .
Yes, he drilled feathery and amazing shots in the first round vs the Rockets in 2014 and Thunder in 2019, at the same time, he literally isn't clutch in the 2nd round and conference finals. Just the facts. I don't hate Dame. I am just being honest.
Dame had a lot of 1st Round exits(including a sweep to the Pelicans where Holiday locked him up).
