The Miami Heat Just Got GREAT News

Bill Simmons rumored that Amazon founder Jeff Bezos could be interested in purchasing the Boston Celtics on the Bill Simmons Podcast. This would have been HORRIBLE for the Miami Heat since Jeff Bezos is one of the wealthiest people in the world. The Heat got GOOD NEWS when Nick Wingfield, The Information, reported that Jeff Bezos has NO INTEREST in buying the Boston Celtics. The Celtics are on the hook for almost $1 Billion in contracts between Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, Jrue Holiday, Derrick White, and Kristaps Porzingis. This puts the Celtics in the 2nd Apron of the NBA Luxury Tax. This could allow the Heat to surpass the Celtics in 2-3 seasons when the Celtics cap space comes back to haunt them.
