  1. Even if the Raptors controlled all the ping-pong balls the NBA would never allow Copper Flag to join this team 😂

  2. The Raptors are going to roll out the tank this season. The need to try to draft a impact or franchise type prospects because they won't be able to sign anyone in the near future

  3. When did we start taking anything Bleacher Report says seriously? You don't have to be a dominant force to have a successful season. The Raptors have put pieces in place that they hope will be the core of the team for years to come. You have to let them develop, which means playing them, developing chemistry and accepting whatever results are achieved. If that means they have a ceiling as a play-in team, so be it. But at some point tanking does nothing for development.

  4. The smart thing to do is just bottom out because of how deep this draft is. We see how quickly things are already looking up for a team like the Spurs who simply just bottomed out 2 seasons in a row. I mean I wouldn’t bottom out right away because the focus should be on development but close to the 2nd half of the season we should be seeing guys like Ulrich getting some burn in the league. You don’t want to be stuck in that treadmill area. How long have we been talking about “push for a play in spot ?” Think about that for a sec. Push for a play in spot is now the high point of this roster which tells you we’re stuck in that grey area you don’t what to be in. We’ve been talking about “push for a play in spot” since OG, Pascal and Fred was here.

  5. I think some winning early helps development. You can start Bruce or make him 6th man 27+ mpg. Trade him and I would have done it already. We likely aren’t going top 8 in East so, would semi tanks even with Jak we can get below all but Wash, Nets, maybe Charlotte.

We should guarantee top 7-8 or better and then would engage Indy to move their 2025 pick if we like it for their 2026 first and they send 2027 Jazz second to sweeten. This would give Indy all it’s flexibility and they need to trade for a very good to star assuming Ben M is be start too. That would give them 4 star types to compete with all other teams (Boston + NYK)

I would like to add a top 7-8, top 20 and Port second to team work and develop them around big 3.

  6. Play-in would still be better than wtf we saw the past two years.

Plus we have our pick and we saw how the hawks still got 1st pick while competing.

  7. If there’s trades for yak and BB now I say do it. O e more year to get a possible top 15 player in the nba is totally worth it. Scottie+ cooper or Harper would be godly to watch

  8. The problem is, they are too good to tank into the top 5 unless there are injuries. There’s just no way of tanking like that without alienating the fan base.

  9. We do not have enough Talent. We Need to trade. Raps still have noy chosen a direction and we are still not good enough to be a treat.. so guys like Brown Yak. Kelly we need to trade.. We overpaid fot a six man type player in Quickly.. MASAI confused QUICKLY FOR Maxey and even Maxey not worth all that Money

  10. Ingram is a good player but doesn't fit in with the Raptors. Injury pron and to old for the team time line. Agree trade Brown , Boucher and pertyl. But we need younger players and draft picks tall forward and Center. Defense and shooting 3.

  11. @benrogers did you look at the raptors schedule? there is no hopium man, raptors are legit bad enough with that schedule to be 2 wins 12 losses without having to try to tank and rest players. their schedule in the 1st half of season, i can see legit raptors 5 wins by end of december if they steal 3 wins.

  12. We need to tank for a top five pick next year. We need better players' draft is the best way to find them.

  13. Tanking to go in casino mode on draft pick does not make sense. Let these players play and wait until trade deadline to make the moves. Detroit has been tank mode for years and see now that worked on their winning culture.
