I said this before we even lost IHart… am i wildin’?? Lol

My take is, it can't be expensive lol. He still has years left and is tradable if even one team brings him back… what's the worst that could happen? What's everyone else's thoughts on this?

  1. Howard is washed. Last time he had any sort of impact was in that Lakers Title run. He played two seasons after mostly as a backup big, he wasn’t tragic but his play slowly declined to the point where he hasn’t played since the ill fated 2021/22 Lakers team that traded for Russ and brought back Dwight and Rondo along with Melo and a bunch of older players to round out the bench.

I just don’t think he’s gonna be even a marginal backup big. I think overall the best bet is going to be roll with Precious and the marginal backup bigs to start the year and then if by mid to late December things aren’t working out package Precious/salary filler along with some picks and swaps to get a better backup big. Nick Richards or someone of that caliber should be on the market.

Has been out of the league since the end of ’22, bounced around the Taiwanese League. At very best he’d be a ~10 mpg guy but how much does he really have left?

We need someone dependable and that doesn’t match any description of his game.

One of the problems with the internet, people aren’t afraid to reveal their shitty opinions.

Please tell me Dwight Howard has a son named Dwight Howard and that’s who we’re talking about…
