I think the main thing people remember about Cam Payne is his pre-game dancing with Russ. I knew he wasn’t very good here, but I was honestly shocked to see that his best game was 16/3/3. Granted he shot the ball well, but there are three guys on this team now that 16/3/3 is a bad/below average game for them.
When Cam Payne was traded to the Bulls, if you had told me that he would still be in the league in 2024 and that he would be playing significant minutes on a finals team in 2021, then I would not have believed you.
