Spurs Drama Already Starting?
Spurs signing Chris Paul this offseason was huge for the young talents development and Victor Wembanyama better being utilized. Chris Paul has always been number 3 but Spurs Keldon Johnson wears that number. Johnson recently said in an interview that he would stay number 3 but Chris Paul was expected to wear that number.

PATFO needs to do a 4 for 1 trade. Picks + Collins-Keldon-Branham-Bassey (b4 he gets hurt again) for an all-star SF. Don't get so good you make the playoffs. In 2025, we want two (Spurs & Hawks) Cooper Flagg lottery chances. Make the play-in and keep VW happy.

To be fair – who is Chris Paul (today) to demand keeping his number?
I’m sure he will still play very well – but he hasn’t been an All-Star for a couple of years, nor has he been an All-NBA calibre player, he came off the bench last year, was waived, and has signed a MLE value deal for this season.
Historically great player, that has fallen short of the grand prize, now in the absolute twilight of his career.
That said he has always come off petty and could hold the Spurs randsom over something like this, particularly if KJ sticks around and gets minutes with CP#?.
What sucks also is that his Olympic number is retired. Dwayne Wade’s Olympic number is retired. Number 33 is taken already. I really don’t know what he will wear.
