How Good Is The Raptors Depth Chart REALLY Going To Be This Season?

How Good Is The Raptors Depth Chart REALLY Going To Be This Season?

A major problem the Raptors have faced the past seasons is not having enough quality depth. Often times we have had to use players on 10 day contracts, g league players or even Malachi Flynn. In today’s video we take a look at the current Raptors roster and try and figure out who will be given the last couple roster spots for the upcoming NBA season.

Let me know if you agree or disagree with any of my picks!

  1. Darko can start out with a 10-11 man rotation. If we make the play-in then drop to a 7-9 man rotation.

My depth cart varies a bit:
    =====================

    PG
    Imannuel Quickley
    Davion Mitchell
Jamal Shead – maybe some 905
    DJ Carton – TWO-WAY

    SG
    RJ Barrett
    Gradey Dick
Jakobe Walter – maybe some 905
    Garrett Temple

    SF
    Bruce Brown
    Ochai Agbaji
Jonathan Mogbo – maybe some 905

    PF
    Scottie Barnes
    Kelly Olynyk
    Chris Boucher

    C
    Jakob Poeltl
    Bruno Fernando
    Branden Carlson TWO-WAY
    Ulrich Chomche TWO-WAY

  2. Shead & Mogbo will be 905 with hopes to come up post all star game. Sounds like Koloko will have to do at least a half season at 905 (with medical clearance). If not Koloko, they are hoping that either Carlson or Fernando makes a leap to being at least a serviceable bench centre.
