After seeing this stat, my next thought was I wonder how many were without Steph…and down the rabbit hole I went lol.
Turns out the 85.9% win rate was just the tip of the absurdity iceberg…his shooting splits in every iteration are so insane that I was genuinely convinced the average function in excel was glitching and so went to calculate them by hand instead, only to find out that nope lol no glitch. 😂😭
I present my rabbit hole findings below, but first I want to note that the 85.9% win rate in the tweet pertains to regular season only. Don't worry though, the cheat code carried over to the playoffs too lol.

I mean this makes sense curry usually produces so if another guy gets going it’s a win
When Klay’s hot, he shoots a lot. When he’s not, he doesn’t shoot nearly as much. I feel like this is more exaggerated for Klay than for many other players. So Klay is usually only scoring 30 when he has a red hot start and has very good efficiency.
whoever does those statmuse graphics needs to be taken out back.
This is why I find it hard to think about Klay as top75. Had he just done this more often both this team and Klay would somehow be more all-time great
