  1. That’s the easiest one.

    The legend, Gary Bird!

But I guess Harden is also a good option.

  2. EricThinksYouSuck

Kenny Smith is probably the best shooter if we look at the percentages. Harden has the craziest volume.

    Rockets All-time Stat leaders

    Highest TS% Carl Landry

Highest eFG%, FG%, Offensive rating Clint Capela

Highest 3P% from a consequential player: Kenny Smith

Most FG made, FTA, most points, highest VORP: Hakeem Olajuwon

Highest PER, +/-, offensive win shares, 3s made, FT made: James Harden

Are you asking for the highest shooting percentage? Highest advanced shooting metrics? Or the guy who put the ball in the basket the most….

To me the answer is who put the ball in the basket the most: Hakeem Olajuwon. All time points and FGs made leader.

  4. Probably Harden. Volume and percentage makes him goated.

Side note: I also had full faith that it was going in when Chandler Parsons was shooting a 3

  5. Kenny Smith

He was an assassin from deep, and is a big reason we won two championships.

  6. Pajamas918

3rd most 3 pointers in nba history, good percentages even with insane shot difficulty and volume… it’s harden

  7. Desperate_Metal_2165

Eddie Johnson. Thank you, game over.

Also, Steve Francis could out dribble harden any day

    “ITS ON NOVAK”

Shame Novak never got a real chance to be a rotational player or that the NBA transition to being 3 point happy after his tenure with us.

It’s James Harden though. ~37% on like 12 attempts per game, many of them being tough 25+ foot step backs is ridiculous.

  9. son_of_abe

I vote Harden or Kenny, but I think Kevin Martin deserves an honorable mention. Maybe.

From all over the floor, probably Co3. Harden is great scorer but it’s hard to put him in that category when he shot how Morey wanted him too. It’s not like he was an elite 3 pt shooter he just shot above average at a high volume. Like EGordon.

For nostalgia, I’ll go with prime Aaron Brooks his spray chart was all over the court, not concentrated in one area

  11. SaggitariuttJ

From the top of the key: Matt Bullard

    From the corner: PJ Tucker

    Everywhere else: Beard Man

  12. Might be CP.

    37% from 3 with 6.3 attempts a game.

    89% from the line.

And during his time here, VERY good midrange shooter, above average TS%.

But Harden on insanity volume and still above average numbers is right there with him.

I’m on Team Kenny Smith. Not having a massive dropoff in the most important playoff games should mean something.
