Thought his response made sense. Him being the 10th man on a team that uses a 9 man rotation would he like rose his last season with us. It would become a distraction and it was good he didn’t take the offer to join the team.

love melo, thought he really got treated unfairly by the rockets. dantoni really got his revenge on him by scapegoating him and making him untouchable for a lot of that season. glad he was able to get a few more years in after, ppl were calling him washed up even though he’s such an effortless scorer.

Its unfortunate he didn’t sign during the 2022 season when you consider we were in need of another perimeter scorer. During his final few seasons, playing with Lillard in Portland was his top situation. I believe the 2022 season with the Knicks would have been similar by seasons end. Dislike him or not, Melo was our top scoring 3 or 4 at times since Bernard King.
