  1. I really think that Keldon fits. I’ve been a Spurs fan for a while since David Robinson days to see Keldon be there in him. Get better over the years. Yes I think he will be a great asset to the team. Just need to be distributed better.

  2. Last season i was saying i think we should trade Keldon because he has tunnel vision and it doesn't fit with the team but thinking about it i think we should give him another chance to try to fit in around vic and if it so happens not to work out we can just trade him.

  3. Keldon needs to stay for one more year minimum. Just like anyone else his game will change with better supports around him.

  4. I love KJ. He is a sparkplug and brings the energy. He can be a bucket, too. I think he is still a part of the future. He only played one year with Wemby, and his role changed completely 2 years ago he was the guy now Wemby is so i think its just taking time getting used to that plus the lineup changes never let anyone get comfortable. I think this will be a big year for all the boys. Its no longer the Spurs big 3. We got the Fantastic 4.

  5. Spurs fan all my life, I remember life without Timmy. Timmy was heaven sent! As is Wemby. Love KJ! That said, let’s deep dive because it’s All About Wemby: Fit with Wemby is a huge problem as a stater and that has been stated in various ways by various people. I agree. I liked what I seen as a potential Six Man or just straight off the bench. He is still capable of been that high energy guy off the bench. I actually can’t wait to see not only the new starting lineup; potentially; Wemby, Sochan, Barnes, Vassell, & Paul. But I’m kind of equally excited to see the bench of potentially; Collins, KJ, Champagnie/Branham, Castle, & Jones. Not to mention the different mixtures of lineups. Go Spurs Go from OKC!

  6. YOU SAID I Like Keldon Johnson AS A TEAMATE YOUR NOT ON THE TEAM CLAN YOUR DELUSIONAL DUDE get checked out man. Your a content creator at best nothing more.

  7. I say wait for a year but if a trade is too good to pass up then go for it.

I am interested on how a veteran like Chris Paul can help improve his game. 22-23 season he was forced to take the role of a 1st option, then last season he was put in situations as a 3rd option, bench player etc. I do believe we can't be too harsh on him due to the lack of definite/consistent system for spurs offense for the past 2 seasons. This season will prove if he really does not fit

  8. I felt like last two season, Keldon kept thinking he had to do something to prove himself as leader. He is THE longest tenured member of the team and the veterans we had (Osman, Graham, etc.) were not a big name veteran so to speak so he felt like he had to get things done. (He ballhogged, and rushed in crunch time) Now…. I think having the biggest name AND the most experience in the team in Chris Paul, he might be able to shake that notion and play little more freely. He CAN be effective if he just focuses on shooting catch-and-shoot AND bring energy to the team.

I would say give another year now that we have solidified No.1 option (in Wemby) and the veteran and the leader in CP3 unless a deal comes in that is really really hard to refuse.
I think we will see the most true version of him this year, then we can access his value to the team in long term.

  9. I love KJ and want him here long term. The last 3 years he’s had a different role every season, and while last year wasn’t awesome, basically everyone struggled at some point. 3 seasons ago he was a complimentary piece to DJ and he was amazing in that role, I think with time to adjust to Wemby he’ll get back to that and hopefully his 3 point % bounces back. Also I’d bet his weight loss has a lot to do with him wanting to be a better defender on the wing so I’m buying all the KJ stock I can right now.

  10. Keldon Johnson just has to maximize and be in a role he was a role player than was ask to be a number 1 option and initiator and then was asked to go back to a smaller role give KJ a chance

  11. I dont want to get rid of him, I think he's great off the bench, but if he starts asking for more, taking time from Sochan, or Castle. Then Id look into a trade

  12. i kinda think keldon may have been hiding a laugh or smile after he said he's keeping #3. he kinda hid his face after he said it.

  13. I think Keldon fits at SG coming off the bench. He can complete Vassells lack of drives to the rim. He needs to get to Johnathon Simmons level when it comes to playing that role

  14. I like him as a 2nd unit guy but I think he would like something else so a trade would probably benefit both the team and him

  15. Spurs gave him a bag so we can keep him on the cheap in the future when he’s coming off the bench during our championship run

  16. I didn’t like Keldon Johnson until the 2023-2024 he is it I hate to say this but and again I hate to say this but if the Spurs are going to make a trade it has to be Devin Vessell why he scored 4 more points than Johnson last season they are kind of doing the same thing but in different ways like Johnson gets more rebounds and Vessell gets more assist but Keldon played less minutes and he has been in the league longer than Vessell AND Johnson turnovers has not changed if I am understanding that stats right Vessell TO went up before he had 1.0 TO and went up to 1.6 Keldon from when he started he started at 1.4 TO and till today it is still the same I could be wrong from what I see Vessell he is not understanding when to move the ball he will wait and even Sean Elliott says the same thing he won’t say what player but if your paying attention you will know what players he is talking about I say the Spurs are not going to trade Johnson also Ellioitt was also confused because the Spurs took Vessell out of the end of the season he said he was really shocked about that because he said nothing never happened to him he even went back to see and he was like it was maybe his left hip or something but he was really confused on why they took him he is a NBA Basketball Player and has been a commentator for the Spurs since 2000 I believe so he knows

  17. Just say you don't like Keldon and be done with it. He's not even the biggest liability on the team so I don't understand all this hate. Where's all this advocating for getting rid of trash a** Zach Collins.

    This some weird energy bro.

You gon be real miserable this upcoming season when Keldon is still very much on this team.
