The Knicks have tradable salary (Precious 6 million dollar contract plus a possible 5.2 million dollar player acquired via exception) and assets (a good amount of second round picks plus two protected firsts that convert to high second rounders) to pull off a trade for a solid backup big.

Yeah, Leon has a record of upgrading our team during the season.
2020 – Lacked a point guard: traded for D Rose.
2022 – Lacked Wing Depth behind RJ: Traded for Hart
2023 – Lacked defense then depth: Traded for OG, Bojan and Burks

trading for bridges and then extending og and brunson did not force the Knicks to take a step back on ihart. we offered the max we could have and he decided to secure his future with more money for his family down the line.

Bottom line, no we could not have matched the OKC offer. This article is nonsense.
The insane leaps and bounds we have made over the past 2 years are simply astonishing. God bless Leon!

Why shield so bunch time working on developing Sims to not use him at all. We can play Randle in really small ball but I imagine it’ll be Mitch to start, precious is penned in as the backup but if he need size nothing wrong with giving Sims burn.

If Sims can shoot a really decent percentage from the line, he might be the closer I’m close games. Mitchell is such a liability at the FT line. If he shoots well from the line which I highly doubt he’s going to beat one of the better centers in the NBA. Big year for him and Sims.
