Kinda off topic but I’m not a big fan of gray jerseys but man these ones were nice

2003 was more statistically impressive in terms of needing to score more since the Nets had less scoring power than the year before plus Detroit had a better defense than Boston in 2002. But in 2002 there was something nice about averaging a triple double and finally having that STAR to lead us to the finals.

2002 . that entire season and playoff run was insane
nets get kidd and there’s maaaaybe some optimism that they can be a 6-8 seed. they win the east.
first round, reggie pushes us to double OT and nearly wrecks the whole thing
fast forward to the ecf and kenyon martin stole antoine walker’s soul. i’ve never seen anything like it. his body language looked like a fat kid playing rec league — all he wanted to do was go home

I’m wondering how many people are going to lie and act like they remember either. I’m 25 and didn’t start watching basketball until 2012. I could be wrong but I doubt most on this sub are that much older
