It's because k ow Player's like to play with Spoelstra he simply can't Coach or get along with players also he mistreating players and he play players out of their position
These are the reasons that they both must step down especially Erick Spoelstra
Not totally excusing Pat's sleeping at the wheel but these players are alot different nowadays. You can't invest in them like before. Teams have been horribly overpaying in these trades and not receiving much in return from the players. Pat has been smart and not willing to pull a trigger on anyone because of luxury tax. Now with that being said he gave out some horrible contracts pre Jimmy that are still haunting us lol
Pat is 79 & Andy is the oldest GM in the league, Ppl praise Andy for being a cap wizard but Miami hasn’t won a title since he’s been appointed GM & there’s been a ton of awful contracts given out to role players which has made Miami send draft capital away to get off them which has hurt them in the long run & for the future if they want a star since FA is dead
