They are not sending him to Maine Bobby. He’s gonna make the team, and get minutes. They needed a wing off the bench who can get his own shot.
wtf am I listening to? Walker will 100% be on this team and will find minutes. KP isn’t expected back until Christmas/january, Horford is up in age and will not play back to backs, White, Jrue and Tatum are fresh off the Olympics and will need their minutes limited at least until mid season.

He’s absolutely making the team he’s better than every bench player we have outside of Horford and Horford ain’t even rly a bench player, he’s technically on the bench but he plays starter minutes. So he’s technically our best bench player

R u kidding. He'll be competing w Pritchard and Hauser for minutes and depending on injuries and match ups he could easily end up top of those three. Slightly different skill set for all three if them, but Walker is a proven player he's gonna be a rotation player nmw. I see him as # 8 player on team at worst

I think the Cs may play their key players less minutes this season in an attempt to reach the playoffs healthy-ish. Thus the bench could see increased minutes. Though minutes might be limited, I think the chance of a title, and contract that could follow from another team in free agency (like Svi) is motivating to make the team this year.
I MAYBE WRONG,BUT DO NOT BE SURPRISED IF THE CELTICS MOVE A FEW PLAYERS AND SIGN WALKER TO A MULTI YEAR CONTRACT.

Lonny Walker has a better all around game than Hauser… AND I LOVE HAUSER! It gives Jaylen & Jayson a true rest without us running Jrue and DWhite all game with the second unit. Walker is better than Jaden Springer, and Jordan Walsh… Walker will get minutes.
