[Wojnarowski] Los Angeles Clippers C Ivica Zubac has agreed on a three-year, $58.6 million contract extension, Mike Lindeman and Jeff Schwartz of @excelbasketball tell ESPN. Zubac gets max available for his three seasons and now is guaranteed four years and $70M.

Solid deal for a solid centre
What a bargain imo. He’s one of the best finishers in the 3-10 feet zone and can create matchup problems if used correctly. Also a great defender.

20/year in today’s NBA is the going rate for someone who’s a really solid, young piece. Good for him and the Clips.
He’s definitely earned it, he’s only 27 so he should continue to improve for the length of the contract. Good move for both parties.
