Kawhi just signed an extension with the Clippers and while they do still have James Harden, it’s tough to see them being a contender without Paul George. And for the Raptors they have some nice young players, but are only in a building state for now. But it wasn’t too long ago when both Kawhi and the Toronto Raptors were at the top of the basketball world.

One thing I remember in the 2019 finals was in the 11 minutes that KD played he was by far the best player on the court by such a significant margin, and then boom hurts his Achilles. Kawhi seized the moment and was incredible

Kawhi should’ve signed a 1and1 in Toronto. He would’ve likely gone to back to back finals. And you could tell that’s what he was thinking on the bench in game 7 against the Nuggets with that pi$$ed off look on his face.
the 2019 raptors was something special and Kawhi was on god mode but I strongly believe the warriors would have defeated the raptors had KD been healthy for the series.
The Raptors earned that championship. I don’t think Milwaukee or Philadelphia was beating the Warriors even in the state they were in, those teams couldn’t even beat Toronto. Toronto was the best team in the league that season. Period.
